PRICE GUIDE - WHAT WILL I PAY?
Melbourne Marriage Registry can be booked for your personal wedding ceremony – anytime DAY or NIGHT – 365 days a year – including Christmas Day or any Public Holidays. You can book your Melbourne Marriage registration ceremony to be legally conducted in one month from the date of lodging your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM). The ceremony fee is all-inclusive and there is no additional fee for use of the ceremony room (which can accommodate anywhere from 2 guests right up to around 40 people).

THE PROCESS TO GET MARRIED NOW!
Call us today on (03) 9820 1119 and we can help you with all your questions. We are available 7 days a week to assist you. If it goes to message bank, it just means we are either on the phone or conducting another couple’s wedding and will get straight back to you within the next two hours.
It doesn’t matter what your question is – we understand that you may not be familiar with the marriage process in Australia. The first step will be either to make an appointment to see us ( we request that you don’t just drop in so that you don’t interrupt another couple’s wedding) – or we can email you a general overview of everything you will need to know and send you the NOIM form to print out. Fill it out and get it legally witnessed. Then you can simply email the signed and witnessed documents to us.
The Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) is essentially like your ‘marriage licence’ that must be lodged with us first, in order to be legally married in Australia for your future choice of ceremony. Award Winning Melbourne Marriage Registry Weddings are renowned in Victoria.
There are a few options for lodging your NOIM with us. Download the form and fill it in, then have it signed by a prescribed witness and email it straight back to us. The lodgement begins from the moment we receive the digital documentation. Or Call us for a Remote Video Witnessing, or Call to make a time to drop in and fill it out with us. The cost of lodgment of the NOIM is $175 (non-refundable). The ceremony is a separate fee. Our mid-week Registry Weddings start from $220* and $270*. Sat/Sunday start from $310* in the mornings.
Once we have received your Notice of Intended Marriage we can officially book your ceremony date! Or- if you are in the process of immigration then we can assist you by providing the required substantiating letters you will need in order to submit your visa paperwork.
Your have a huge host of options for booking your ceremony! You can easily elope with up to 6 guests in exactly one month from the date of the form lodgment, or, book a ceremony with up to 40 of your closets friends and family to join you at our beautiful ceremony rooms for your wedding ceremony. There is even a legals-only package, with an extras option for a totally secret elopement package that includes two witnesses so you can elope with just the two of you. We started our Privately run Marriage Registry in 2010 as the first private registry of our kind in Australia to offer Victorian couples a fabulous alternative to the Government’s Victorian Marriage Registry in Spring Street, with both the short and long-term goal to offer ALL couples the wedding they had always wished for and always dreamed of having. We waited years for this, and finally on Friday 8 December, 2017, the Same-sex Marriage Bill was signed into law by the Governor-General. LGBTQIA+ couples who had already married overseas would finally have their relationships recognised in Australia from midnight that night, and the first same-sex marriage ceremonies could occur from the 9th of January 2018.
